Make Alliance With Righteous Causes

Scriptural Highlight: (2Kings 9:17) - "Now the watchman was standing on the tower in Jezreel, and he saw the company of Jehu as he came and said, 'I see a company.' And Joram said, 'Take a horseman and send to meet them and let them say, 'is it well'. So a man on horseback went to meet them and said, 'Thus says the king, 'is it peace?' And Jehu answered, 'what do you have to do with peace? Turn and ride behind me."

Our scriptural highlight for today showcases a scene of battle between righteousness and evil. Joram king of Israel belonged to the family of Ahab and Jezebel, people that have troubled Israel with their sorcery, covetousness and blood spills. And a word of prophecy from Elijah had gone out against this evil house saying, "Behold, I will bring evil upon thee, and will utterly sweep thee away and will cut off from Ahab every man-child...(1Kings 21:21). So, in effect, God located Jehu and anointed him to fight and fulfill His righteous cause.

But what I want you to notice specially in today's focus is how the servants of Joram changed their cause and joined Jehu's cause. Jehu was on a mission to fulfill a righteous cause and they joined him, partnered with him and strengthened his hand detaching from Joram. As a result, the life of these servants were preserved. On the other hand, (if you read down you will find) the king of Judah, Ahaziah, lost his life because he was in partnership with a cursed man. Cursed, because, God has rejected Ahab and his descendants (so a prophecy of doom was hanging on Joram's head).

Child of God, hear God's word today: make alliances with righteous causes; detach from cursed people; separate from relationships that will drown your life. When you partner with people who have God's presence, their is a rob off of the grace and blessing of God on their life on your own life. When you come across people or platforms God is blessing and backing, don't join those who are cynical rather promote them, partner and sponsor them. The word of God says, "He that receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward: and he that receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward" (Mathew 10:41).

Many have died following people that God was against. On the other hand, many have become blessed following people God blessed. Make alliance today with righteous causes. You shall flourish.

Prayer: Lord disconnect me from wrong alliances and connect me to the right relationships in Jesus name.

What We Represent

Ride The Tide Tide is the periodic variation in the surface level of the oceans and of bays, gulfs, inlets, and estuaries, caused by gravitational attraction of the moon and sun (The American Heritage Dictionary).  Just as the physical tide exists with its implications in our environment, a spiritual tide also exists in the life of a human being which tend to rise occasionally. And when it does rise, many are not well equipped to handle issues.  In this platform, we expose you to the fact that the tide can be turned to your favour, for with God nothing is impossible. How one is going to react in the midst of a tide, whether you will ride over it (turning it to your favour) or not is dependent on the quality of your spirit. We believe it is only the word of God that gives quality to a man's spirit. We use the phrase "Ride The Tide" because it captures the inspiration well in our heart. contact: chuks4flourish@gmail.com

God's Glory

Scriptural Highlight: ( Isaiah 60:1 ) - "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you."

The Issue With Wealth

It has been said that wealth is a reward for value. I agree a million times. I was discussing with a friend over something and he said, "What I want is the one that will be bringing money quick, quick". Immediately he said that I was taken aback. This kind of statement is what would be glaring, were you to cut open many hearts. But the truth is that only one percent of the world's population are controlling the wealth , others are just following and wishing they were more lucky. The average man on the street is hustling believing that one day more than enough money will enter his account. If a new flourishing business comes to town you will see everyone running into it looking for wealth. If for instance Nigeria discovers oil in a new sight now, many will rush to become oil workers. They are all in search of wealth. They need more money (ego, kudi, owo)! But on the other hand, wealth creators or rather value creators do not move with the trend or the hassles rath...
