When something is dead around you, please do me this favour: Don't nurture it, don't pamper it, don't polish it.  Call it back to life or buried it forever!  Holding unto dead things frustrate the new life we can have.  When dead people occupy our hearts, we frustrate the living; When dead relationships occupy us, we kill promising ones; When past failures and mistakes occupy us, we keep repeating the failure. Live today for today and for tomorrow. Just your best of life.

In this part of the world, I noticed that a lot of people vent their frustrations on others. People always look for excuses for their failure. Any little thing is blamed on the government, economy or one deficiency or the other in the environment.  Many times I would be coming back to my lodge, or going to office and suddenly on reaching my destination, the epileptic power supply will go off. The next thing people their would say is, "Ohm! This "light" has been on o and you just came and took it!" When this happens, I usually wonder whether am NEPA or PHCN that  decided to ration the power. You could see those in government blaming detractors or lack of capital for non-performance. Fire Service would blame lack of water in their tanker for not showing up on time to answer distress calls, and the list goes on.  Am not relegating the fact that genuine excuses hinder performance but you would believe with me that as long as there is still someone to tak

    Today! There is no better day than today. Today is a gift, take it, treasure it. Today is the reality of yesterday's hopes. You prayed yesterday, today is the answer. The best way to start something is start it, There is no guru, there is no expert; The experts and gurus of today are the yesterday's "journey just come". They just learnt how to bypass yesterday's mistakes and failures; They learnt to do it better. If I were you: I would pray now than wait for a special tomorrow; I would believe today; I would sing my best song today; I would dance my best dance today, no special song tomorrow; I would rejoice today, I would love today; I would live my best life today.

The problem is not in the season.  What matters is the person going through seasons. The God of summer is the God of winter. Other birds struggle to flap their wings but the eagles wait for the wind to rise. They mount their wings and soar.

REJOICE IN THE WORD OF GOD Scriptural Highlight: ( Psalm 119:162 ) - "I rejoice at your word like one who finds great spoil."   GO BY HIS POWER Scriptural Highlight: (Philippians 4:13 ESV) - "For I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." God has the ability to empower you to do any assignment for His kingdom. Being a disciple for Christ requires extraordinary strength and power. Bible admonishes us in Ephesians 6:11-12 to: " Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." From this scripture, we see that evil have forces that enforce its influence over people. Merriam Webster' Dictionary defines an aspect of force as "a body (as of troops or ships) assigned to a military purpose". So the spiritual forces we saw in Ephesians 6:12 have one purpose, and that is to make sure that evil is reigning in the

Don't let anyone make you pay again when Christ has paid already. Remember this always. The vessel you carry with to the river is what you will draw with; if you go with only a cup to the river, don't envy a man that went with tanker or pipeline. Life answers to you based on your demands to it, not on your wishful thinking. Your frustrations today could be payment for yesterday's neglect. Life has a way of multiplying seeds; make sure the seeds you're sowing today is what you will like to show up tomorrow.

SEEK IN THE RIGHT PLACES. Scriptural Highlight: ( Luke 24:5-6 KJV ) - "And they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee," When Jesus was with His disciples before His crucification, He spoke of His death. He also spoke of His resurrection from the dead on the third day. But when the prophecy came to fulfillment, the disciples seemed to be lagging behind. These women religiously came to do their good work of anointing Jesus' body. They hoped to find His dead body, when the tide had already turned. The other day it was ok; but this day, no; they were lagging behind prophecy. They are now seeking the living among the dead. He has risen and has no more business with the grave. The angels had to remind them the words of Jesus again, how Jesus spoke to them of His resurrection when He was yet in Galilee. Belo

God has no use for your abilities if it won't depend on Him. He uses available people. God will do great, great things with a surrendered destiny. A CRY FOR MERCY! Scriptural Highlight: ( Psalm 90: 14 KJV ) - "Satisfy us early with thy mercy that we may rejoice and be glad all our days." Mercy is the unfailing love of God towards a man. It is when God  overlooks  your weaknesses and your deficiencies. Mercy qualifies a man to do or achieve things he may not be qualified for. When mercy is upon a man's life, certain doors he would never have crossed opens for him without sweat. Mercy prepares the way for favour to work in a man's life. However, when mercy is lacking, men struggle in vain; they labour like elephants and eat like ants. When mercy is lacking in a man's life, just like Cain in Genesis 4:5, even his sacrifices are rejected. Ever seen someone lamenting his ordeal before? GOD IS YOUR SHIELD   Scriptural Highlight: ( Job 3:5 ) - " But put forth thy hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face." Beloved, looking closely at our scriptural highlight for today, you can easily see the devil's wish against God's children -evil. He is always making moves to destroy us, and to destroy the testimony we have in Christ. He suggested to  God to put forth His hand to harm Job. In John 10:10 Jesus revealed to us that "the thief (devil) comes to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly." It has been said that wealth is a reward for value. I agree a million times. I was discussing with a friend over something and he said, "What I want is the one that will be bringing money quick, quick". Immediately he said that I was taken aback. This kind of statement is what would be glaring, were you to cut open many hearts. But the truth is that only one percent of the world's population are controlling the wealth , others are just following and wishing they were more lucky. The average man on the street is hustling believing that one day more than enough money will enter his account. If a new flourishing business comes to town you will see everyone running into it looking for wealth. If for instance Nigeria discovers oil in a new sight now, many will rush to become oil workers. They are all in search of wealth. They need more money (ego, kudi, owo)! But on the other hand, wealth creators or rather value creators do not move with the trend or the hassles rath
