Understanding The Leading of The HolySpirit

Every individual who has a relationship with God has a unique way God leads he or she. Personally, God has led me in different ways but one point is clear in my dealings with God: whenever there is a topic of importance, maybe something am neglecting and God wants my attention on it, He has a way of staying my heart on the topic. For instance, there is an article I perceive I should work on and I have been kind of ignoring it; but despite my trying to ignore it, the topic won't just go away; it looks like the topic has been posted in my heart that no matter what I do I can't just get it off my memory. That is one important way God leads his people: He puts an impression or a kind of sign in your heart. It can also come in form of a burden for you to do something or make moves to correct something that is wrong. However, it is important that prayers be made to get the correct message God wants to pass or  to get the correct line of action, because, for God to use this

Kindness -

Scriptural Highlight: (Proverbs 3:3-4) - "Let not kindness and truth forsake thee: Bind them about thy neck; Write them upon the tablet of thy heart: So shalt thou find favor and good understanding In the sight of God and man." Today's scriptural highlight admonishes us not to let kindness and truth depart from us. Kindness is a special treatment given to someone to make the person happy and to have an impression of being special. While truth is simply what God's word says: the Bible says that the "word of God is truth". Kindness is the outworking of God's love in our heart towards our neigbbours, our environment or society at large. As Children of God we are being enjoined to bind kindness like a cloak. What that means is that kindness should be seen in us everyday, every hour and every second. Some show kindness when they see someone they feel will be able help them with something, later; some show kindness when they feel it will give them good opini

Your Kidney Deserves The Best (Re-Post)

Barely two (2) days ago, we all received the news of the demise of a Nigerian actor as a result of same kidney disease. I want to show you how to avert this menace of kidney disease. Very easy and effective. And don't forget that I copied it. So feel free to share, copy and disseminate. SO HERE ARE THE TOP 6 CAUSE OF KIDNEY DISEASE: 1. Delaying going to a toilet Keeping your urine in your bladder for too long is a bad idea. A full bladder can cause bladder damage. The urine that stays in the bladder multiplies bacteria quickly. Once the urine refluxes back to the ureter and kidneys, the toxic substances can result in kidney infections, then urinary tract infections, and then nephritis, and even uremia. When nature calls – do it as soon as possible. 2. Eating too much salt,You should eat no more than 5.8 grams of salt daily. 3. Eating too much meat. Too much protein in your diet is harmful for your kidneys. Protein digestion produces ammonia – a toxin that is very destru

Are We Becoming Too Used to Horror/Bad News?

I did a little traveling today and guess what I experienced. A journey of normally six hours on road, took us extra three hours. I was expecting to get to my destination latest, six or seven p.m. but I ended up reaching around 9 p.m. Why? We entered deadlocked traffic at different places caused by tragic accidents that had just happened. I can count up to four, five trailers that tumbled on the road or smashed into bush part at different points. At one point, I couldn't just bring myself to look at the tragic situation: they were bringing out dead bodies that just went to their early graves from a bridge where they just smashed into. What everyone did was normal, shake their heads and life continues. I guess we really have become used to tragedy. It now looks natural for people to die anyhow and it means nothing. When Bokoharam insurgency started in Nigeria, people used to shudder when they hear things like, "ten people or so, so number people got bombed at so, so, pl

Dwell on The Positives

That some things seem to be lacking your life now is not the absence of them.   What the enemy wants to remind you are your failings, your rejections, dejection and things lacking in your life.  Because, he knows that as long as you dwell on the negatives, your outcome remains negative. But in this platform, we want to remind you of victories, of success, of abundant life, all in Christ. You are what God says you are: blessed!  True blessing starts from knowing am truly blessed. No wonder 2Peter1:2 says, "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord!"  Knowledge in things of God is a multiplier of God's blessings.

Establish Your Hearts

Scriptural Highlight: ( James 5: 8 ) – “Be ye also patient, establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord is at hand.” In the time of the early disciples, they thought that the second coming of the Lord Jesus was going to be in their days. As a result, there was a kind of life they lived: They lived every day of their lives expecting His return; They lived prepared and consecrated lives, totally sold out to the Lord. So even when the Lord did not yet come, they did mind blowing exploits and died in the Lord. In our scriptural highlight for today, James was writing and encouraging brethren to be patient, to establish their hearts: for the coming of the Lord is at hand. We are encouraged to be patient by the Holy Spirit not just because Christ’s coming may be delayed but because, believers could lose their fire, their faith or their zeal thinking that to delay is to annul. We were also encouraged to establish our hearts. The word, establish, is used also wi
