What We Represent/Mission

When the true worth of a thing is not known, there is a danger of it being under-prized! Many people live below their true potential because, according to (Hosea 4:6) "My people perish for lack of knowledge." Our simple assignment in this platform is to open your eyes to the wonder you are in Christ.

We want to be one of the most relevant and impactful gospel (inspiration) based blogs.

Ride The Tide

Tide is the periodic variation in the surface level of the oceans and of bays, gulfs, inlets, and estuaries, caused by gravitational attraction of the moon and sun (The American Heritage Dictionary).
Just as the physical tide exists with its implications in our environment, a spiritual tide also exists in the life of a human beings which tend to rise occasionally. And when it does rise, many are not well equipped to handle issues. In this platform, we expose you to the fact that no matter what you are going through the tide can be turned to your favour, for with God nothing is impossible. How one is going to react in the midst of a tide, whether you will just ride over it (turning it to your favour) or not is dependent on the quality of your spirit. And we believe it is only the word of God that gives quality to a man's spirit.
I use the phrase "Ride The Tide" because it captures the inspiration well in my heart.

The People Involved

I, Chukwuma, Oleka with my friends and partners are behind this gospel based blog with focus on inspiration, motivation, information and revelation. Personally, Ride The Tide, is like a diary for me in which I record some of my experiences with God that am sure can inspire someone who decides to have look. Ride The Tide is like a diary anyone can peep at without violating anyone's privacy. What I record in this diary blesses me even when I come back to read again, so I keep updating and correcting...
Am an energetic young man who believes in the projection of the right images at all times. I believe that people deserve to be well informed and inspired. I believe that men and women whose efforts and hard work affect society positively should be celebrated and promoted. At your service. Much love!

Many people come to Christ daily but battle with the memories of their past life which probably was rough, painful or traumatic. I have seen many people who struggled to live their new found faith in Christ just because a terrible past life comes hunting: I have seen some who got delivered from occult involvements, terrible abuses, sexual lifestyles and other dehumanizing struggles battling to live the Christian life because of the height of what they had been through. For some of them even when God has forgiven their sins, they find it hard to forgive themselves. So the devil takes advantage of the struggle, self condemnation or guilt to hinder their growth in the things of the spirit. But the Bible teaches that, he that is in Christ is a new creation, old things are past away and behold all things are new. No matter what a person has done, as long as the person has not grieved the Holy Spirit, he can be saved.

So the questions is, how …

Dwell on The Positives

That some things seem to be lacking your life now is not the absence of them.   What the enemy wants to remind you are your failings, your rejections, dejection and things lacking in your life.  Because, he knows that as long as you dwell on the negatives, your outcome remains negative. But in this platform, we want to remind you of victories, of success, of abundant life, all in Christ.
You are what God says you are: blessed!  True blessing starts from knowing am truly blessed. No wonder 2Peter1:2 says, "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord!"  Knowledge in things of God is a multiplier of God's blessings.

Make Alliance With Righteous Causes

Scriptural Highlight: (2Kings 9:17) - "Now the watchman was standing on the tower in Jezreel, and he saw the company of Jehu as he came and said, 'I see a company.' And Joram said, 'Take a horseman and send to meet them and let them say, 'is it well'. So a man on horseback went to meet them and said, 'Thus says the king, 'is it peace?' And Jehu answered, 'what do you have to do with peace? Turn and ride behind me."
Our scriptural highlight for today showcases a scene of battle between righteousness and evil. Joram king of Israel belonged to the family of Ahab and Jezebel, people that have troubled Israel with their sorcery, covetousness and blood spills. And a word of prophecy from Elijah had gone out against this evil house saying, "Behold, I will bring evil upon thee, and will utterly sweep thee away and will cut off from Ahab every man-child...(1Kings 21:21). So, in effect, God located Jehu and anointed him to fight and fulfill His…
