GO BY HIS POWER

 GO BY HIS POWER

Scriptural Highlight: (Philippians 4:13 ESV) - "For I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
God has the ability to empower you to do any assignment for His kingdom. Being a disciple for Christ requires extraordinary strength and power. Bible admonishes us in Ephesians 6:11-12 to: " Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." From this scripture, we see that evil have forces that enforce its influence over people. Merriam Webster' Dictionary defines an aspect of force as "a body (as of troops or ships) assigned to a military purpose". So the spiritual forces we saw in Ephesians 6:12 have one purpose, and that is to make sure that evil is reigning in the world.
To be on the Lords side and create the requisite impact requires strength from God in your inner man. Jesus told His disciples not to move out until they be endued with power.
The power of God is the answer the world is looking for. In any sphere of life that God has called you: be it business, ministry, career, whatever; the power of God will always bring out the answers we are looking for.
Jesus said "all things are possible to them that believe." What God will do with a life seeking His strength is yet to be heard of. People are tired of dry sermons. We need sermons loaded with power and Spirit of the word of God. We need songs from the Spirit; songs that convict; songs that will draw down the weight of God's glory. We need men that will arise in the political front with kingdom grace and power. All these can only happen by the strength that comes from knowing Jesus. Bible said that out of Zion shall go forth the rod of His strength... (Psalm 110:2). Zion is the church of God; believers in Christ.
Beloved, we can do wonders, if only we can connect and stir up the power within us in Christ. Flourish!

Pray: Lord I receive strength for the journey ahead of me in Jesus name.

The Issue With Wealth II

There is a point one can get to in life where money is no longer a challenge. If one reaches this level and care is not taken, you may discover that dependence on God on certain issues may begin to decline. Because some of the things the person used to pray about, money can now provide them. There is another category of people who have all the money they will ever need in life; and there are others that have never known what is called lack all their life. These kind of people may never understand if you tell them how impoverished people are, out their. They may see it in the television or in the papers but they may not fully come to terms with it. Some in this group can put people down to make sure they maintain position. Then, finally we have the poor folks and those trying to make ends meet. I have one problem with this last two category, especially the poor, they always think that the rich is the cause of their poverty. You may never blame someone who was born with a silver

MY PAST HUNTS ME! HOW DO I DEAL WITH IT NOW THAT AM IN CHRIST?

DRAW A LINE BETWEEN YOUR PAST AND YOUR FUTURE ! Many people come to Christ daily but battle with the memories of their past life which probably was rough, painful or traumatic. I have seen many people who struggled to live their new found faith in Christ just because a terrible past life comes hunting: I have seen some who got delivered from occult involvements, terrible abuses, sexual lifestyles and other dehumanizing struggles battling to live the Christian life because of the height of what they had been through. For some of them even when God has forgiven their sins, they find it hard to forgive themselves. So the devil takes advantage of the struggle, self condemnation or guilt to hinder their growth in the things of the spirit. But the Bible teaches that, he that is in Christ is a new creation, old things are past away and behold all things are new. No matter what a person has done, as long as the person has not grieved the Holy Spirit, he can be saved. So the que
