GOD IS CONCERNED

Scriptural Highlight: (John 6:5) - "Lifting up his eyes, then, and seeing that a multitude was coming to him, Jesus said to Philip, "How are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat?"

God is concerned about us as individuals. He sees our little, little efforts to come to Him, to worship Him. He promised in His word that He will not leave us as orphans and this He fulfilled by sending the Holy Spirit to dwell in us who believe in His name. Some people when they face challenges, they feel abandoned by God and instead of coming closer, they move farther away from the only one who knows the answer to their problems. From our scriptural highlight, Jesus asked Philip a question on how to solve the people's immediate problem but it was just a test because He knew what to do. Dear God knows exactly what to do about your case. Have a flourishing day

MY PAST HUNTS ME! HOW DO I DEAL WITH IT NOW THAT AM IN CHRIST?

DRAW A LINE BETWEEN YOUR PAST AND YOUR FUTURE ! Many people come to Christ daily but battle with the memories of their past life which probably was rough, painful or traumatic. I have seen many people who struggled to live their new found faith in Christ just because a terrible past life comes hunting: I have seen some who got delivered from occult involvements, terrible abuses, sexual lifestyles and other dehumanizing struggles battling to live the Christian life because of the height of what they had been through. For some of them even when God has forgiven their sins, they find it hard to forgive themselves. So the devil takes advantage of the struggle, self condemnation or guilt to hinder their growth in the things of the spirit. But the Bible teaches that, he that is in Christ is a new creation, old things are past away and behold all things are new. No matter what a person has done, as long as the person has not grieved the Holy Spirit, he can be saved. So the que

The Issue With Wealth II

There is a point one can get to in life where money is no longer a challenge. If one reaches this level and care is not taken, you may discover that dependence on God on certain issues may begin to decline. Because some of the things the person used to pray about, money can now provide them. There is another category of people who have all the money they will ever need in life; and there are others that have never known what is called lack all their life. These kind of people may never understand if you tell them how impoverished people are, out their. They may see it in the television or in the papers but they may not fully come to terms with it. Some in this group can put people down to make sure they maintain position. Then, finally we have the poor folks and those trying to make ends meet. I have one problem with this last two category, especially the poor, they always think that the rich is the cause of their poverty. You may never blame someone who was born with a silver

GO BY HIS POWER

GO BY HIS POWER Scriptural Highlight: (Philippians 4:13 ESV) - "For I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." God has the ability to empower you to do any assignment for His kingdom. Being a disciple for Christ requires extraordinary strength and power. Bible admonishes us in Ephesians 6:11-12 to: " Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." From this scripture, we see that evil have forces that enforce its influence over people. Merriam Webster' Dictionary defines an aspect of force as "a body (as of troops or ships) assigned to a military purpose". So the spiritual forces we saw in Ephesians 6:12 have one purpose, and that is to make sure that evil is reigning in the
